Phinney’s Ride, one of our biggest fundraisers, is a non-competitive, 150-mile bike ride to support the Phinney’s Ride Fund, which helps pet owners in Massachusetts living with HIV or AIDS keep their pets. This fun event happens every odd year, in the fall.
This fun event happens every odd year, in the fall. A small group of bike riders, lead by veterinarian Dr. Roger Peduzzi, DVM, start in Stow, MA. They cruise all the way to Fitzwilliam, NH, stopping several times to rest, eat re-energize with food and water along the way. When they arrive in NH, the group has dinner and spends the night in a cabin in the woods. That covers 75 miles! The next day, they all come 75 miles back to Stow, with several stops and lots of anticipation!
Every rider is asked to raise at least $500 to Phinney’s Friends. But the sky is the limit, of course! Would you like to join this fun group and ride your bike for Phinney’s? Please contact us! Our next ride is on September 9 and 10, 2017.
